Richard Keys Andy Gray Sexist Comments
The Richard Keys Andy Gray sexist comments over a female linesman are shooting around the web, as thousands listen to the bigoted and backward views of the two Sky Sports presenters. Coming days after Karren Brady labelled football in the UK as sexist, both Andy Gray and Richard Keys joked about a woman’s capacity to understand a rather basic rule.
Richard Keys Andy Gray Sexist Comments
The Sky Sports presenters were recorded whilst watching the Wolverhampton Wanderers vs Liverpool game but their remarks were not broadcast live. Only now can you hear the sexist comments of Richard Keys and Andy Gray. In the short recording you can hear the two talking about the linesman Sian Massey in a not very complementary manner.
Richard Keys said “Somebody better get down there and explain offside to her” to which Andy Gray replied, “Can you believe that? A female linesman. Women don’t know the offside rule.” This rude remark shows just how small minded the pair are as Sian Massey clearly would not be allowed to officiate if she didn’t know every single regulation in the rulebook, and mocks countless female fans who tune into the show. Later the pair went on saying, “Did you hear charming Karren Brady this morning complaining about sexism? Do me a favour, love.”
It is not known if Sky Sports will act upon the Richard Keys Andy Gray Sexist Comments but just like Ron Atinkson, the public will demand the pair be sacked for voicing opinions decades out of step with the current climate. Hopefully Sian Massey will receive a full apology from the pair, but it may not be enough to save their jobs.

Don’t know why anyone would be surprised. Keys in particular has been an arrogant idiot for years. This is the latest in a long line of offensive views expressed through Sky Sports. They clearly thinks they’re untouchable. I’m sure Sky will brush this under the carpet but you just need to listen to the audio to hear how arrogant and out of touch they really are. Truth is sexism is no better than racism so just like Ron Atkinson, they should be sacked. It wouldn’t be before time.

Grow up1 Women make the identical sexist remarks about men. have you been in limbo all your life?
5:37 am
Oh grow up!!!
The faux-offence is ridiculous. As is the attempt to link this to the Ron Atkinson story. There is a difference between a silly joke and calling someone a stupid f*****g n*****r.
Fine, report the story but the calling for their heads is petty and amateurish.
Obviously written by a woman.

craig — Grow up[ yourself – there is no difference whatsoever — racism sexism they are not needed in our football – you go and watch other channels whilst we watch clean Sky – that is if Sky do the right thing

Agree wholeheartedly. The whole affair is political correctness gone mad.

at last the arrogant two may now be treated as they should be and thrown out. they act as if they run the network and their arrogance puts anyone off watching the programmes, any guests on their shows appear to have no right to an opinion, and the ridicule is clear on keyes and grays face to them, get shut of them and give someone else a chance
1:05 am
Sky should rid us of these two buffoons Gray and Keys. I do not want their neanderthal attitudes in my life. I can’t imagine how pea-brained you have to be to think like thse two or to defend them. They are basically immature boys who have never grown up and still think that their inane comments about women are funny.
6:32 pm
And was the presenter of BBC’s Newsnight, Kirsty Walk, sacked when she was fantasising – on air, not off – with a left wing academic she was interviewing a few years ago about a future in which women might reproduce life without sperm and men could gradually be exterminated? No. Was there comment on the front pages of the mainstream press? No. Was there so much as one ‘official’ word of disapproval voiced by her employers? No.
The hypocrisy, extremism and licensed one-way nastiness of the modern women’s movement will be reflected upon with astonishment by future generations of human beings living in a world that will eventually move on and out of the static trance inflicted upon it by the paranoid glare of radical feminism.
Additionally, women, as an entire human grouping, will not fare well in the light this objective reflection.
Meanwhile the dark irony of blinkered reasoning induced by officially endorsed bigotry exists in the here and now with commentators here making such sad statements as – ‘They clearly thinks they’re untouchable’. ‘The arrogant two may now be treated as they should be’. ‘You go and watch other channels whilst we watch clean Sky’.
Yes very ironic. And very sad that people are clearly taken in by this lynch mob way of thinking that is peculiar to all periods of tyranny.

There was a quote,’I disagree with what you have to say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it’ attributed to Voltaire, which expresses a noble ethic.
Reality however is different and Gray and Keys have paid the price for being indiscreet with their ‘laddish’ comments. Perhaps a £20,000 fine paid to the offended party would have been a more appropriate penalty.
7:29 pm
Perhaps somebody should explain the ‘Off Air’ rule to them

You English people need to grow up and get a life. It was a bit of male banter between friends. You would rather see a celebrity get smashed than put a murderer in jail. That’s about the high point of your week.Reaching for the papers to see who gets it this week. And Rio on Twitter or should i say a twit on twitter. He should stick to missing dope tests. The only thing he is good at. Man U FAN…YES, Man U FAN.

I’m sorry, I just think the world has gone mad. I thought it was OK to have opinions or have a laugh but it seems that if someone disagrees, it gets escalated to a huge status, especially if there isn’t another big story for the media to report.
I believe the worst punishment, although I personally think there shouldn’t have been one, should have been a warning. It was just a bit of male banter which goes on everywhere. I would be investigating why it was made public and by who?
I repeat, the world has gone mad.

Well put mr peter charnley. When are we going to see sexism applied to men? Or dont men have rights?.Is it okay for a programme like loose women,to make anti male sexist comments.Like the only good husband is a dead one.Or victoria wood, joe brand making sexist jokes at the male expense.Well i guess we are just thick skinned enough to take it as a joke.Or should I divorce my wife for jokingly tell me I Carnt multi task.Nice to see the sun newspaper, call the pair lewd and sexist. They should have printed it on page 3 next to the topless model.
like mentioned above Ron Atkinson used a racial swear word. Please also remember that Andy gray and co were not on air. They were being filmed and recorded off air.Like set up.So why did sky release the videos?
7:54 am
i dont think andy gray should leave. yes he was wrong for what he said but it was a private conversation. football is now at a loss . surely a heavy fine or ban would nave been beetter. and i think the other videos coming to surface now is sad. if there were so bad why wasn’t it highlighted before this?
1:13 pm
blown well out of proportion. it werent even broardcast live. what is the actual problem? im with wmcbrum on this 1 and im english as well. if he had called her ‘slag with a flag’ and it had been broardcast live then maybe there would be a problem. if they r going 2 get rid of a commentator ther get rid of mark lorensen for being an idiot!!! we as a nation need stuff like this to happen so that it gives us something to complain about as we are english and thats what where good at.we should bring ron atkinson back, get him tanked up and get him to commentate on a match where titus brumble and emil hesky are both playing!!!
