Zak Starkey The Who Drummer

The 44th Super Bowl’s half time performance will feature, The Who,  an English rock band formed in 1964. The band’s most popular member is possibly Zak Starkey, The Who Drummer.

They are most famous for making instrument destruction popular. The Who have sold over 100 million records and have entered the top forty singles in the United Kingdom and United States numerous times with 17 top ten albums, including 18 Gold, 12 Platinum and 5 Multi-Platinum album awards in the United States alone.

The Who are scheduled to perform their best of hits at the 44th Superbowl during the half time show, so if you haven’t heard of them before this, it will be a good chance to hear what The Who have to offer.

Hopefully, there won’t be a scandalous incident like during the Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake performance of several years ago.

  • Zak has the metronome steadiness of his father Richard. He also holds his sticks a bit like Keith Moon. Doesn’t over play yet is so solid.
He was awesome on the biggest stage in the world. Dad should be very proud. Excellent job Zak. You carried the day.

  • Well said Ringo, I mean Richard!
