Woman Sues McDonald’s Bone Found In Burger

Chicago, IL, United States (AHN) – A Chicago woman is suing McDonald’s for allegedly damaging her teeth on a bone that was embedded in her cheeseburger from the fast food restaurant.

Millicent Brown said she bit into the burger in question at a Waukegan, Illinois, McDonald’s, July 8, 2008, according to reports.

The lawsuit states the burger damaged her teeth so severely she had to receive a root canal, tooth extraction, bone graft and an implant.

Brown is also suing the firm which owns and operates the suburban McDonald’s from which she bought the burger, as well as the meat distributor.

Brown also names Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. in the suit, because the McDonald’s was located inside a Wal-Mart.

McDonald’s is investigating the allegations.
