Who Will Win the Super Bowl Today?
Based on a poll of over 400,000 people, roughly 58% believe that the Indianapolis Colts will defeat the New Orleans Saints in Super Bowl XLIV later today.
The poll, taken by ESPN, showed that a majority of people in 44 U.S. states believe that the Colts will win. In Indiana, the an apparent 86% of fans think the Colts will win. On the other hand, down in Louisiana, a whopping 93% of fans believe that their New Orleans Saints will upend the favored Colts. The other states favoring the Saints include Mississippi, which is next to Louisiana, and four states in the northeast: Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Vermont and Maine.

According the latest betting line from BETUS, the Colts are a 5 point favorite over the Saints. Though the betting line started at 3.5, it jumped up to 5 when fans started betting more on the Colts than the Saints.
The Super Bowl will kickoff at 6:25 p.m. Eastern Standard Time this evening. The game is being aired by CBS and is being held in Miami, Florida.
The game features arguably the two best quarterbacks in the NFL: Peyton Manning of the Colts and Drew Brees of the Saints. Both quarterbacks had outstanding seasons for their teams this year, helping both to the best records in their respective conferences.
