Fans are anticipating the remake not only because of its cult status but because the film will showcase new Daft Punk music. The French house duo have been tasked with writing the score for the film and also will be making cameos in it. Starring alongside Jeff Bridges will be Garrett Hedlund of Eragon fame and Olivia Wilde from Year One.
The Tron Legacy trailer is an amazing visual fest full of neon awesomeness that shows how Jeff Bridges’ son enters the world of Tron on a mission to find his missing father. The world is an epic remake of the original and is being scripted by Adam Horowitz, one of the co-writers on Lost. Something to get really excited about at this stage is that it has been confirmed that the film will have 3D support so with a little luck this could be a Christmas hit.
The new Tron Legacy trailer unveiled at Comic Con looks certain to set fans pulses racing and will introduce a whole new generation to one of the formative and most seminal computer games of the past thirty years.
