Street Fighter X Tekken

In terms of collaborations, perhaps the only thing to top Marvel VS Capcom 3 is the newly announced Street Fighter X Tekken. If that sounds too good to be true, pinch yourself because Street Fighter X Tekken debut trailer has just been released. Comic Con has always been a place to drop bombs but this latest news is something nobody expected given they thought Capcom would only be pushing its Marvel VS Capcom 3 game.

At the moment the above is only a working title and is pronounced Street Fighter cross Tekken. The game will use the Super Street Fighter IV engine but will include two versus two tag battles akin to Tekken series.

This news is certain to send gamers into a frenzy as for years all and sundry have debated over who would kick whose butt if they could play together. The Street Fighters mostly have projectiles so how this will work remains to be seen but for now the prospect of Zangief VS Kuma has an almost legendary potential that has to happen!

There is no release date set for Street Fighter X Tekken and gamers should know that Namco are working on their own Tekken X Street Figher.
