The 2008 Republican vice presidential nominee also told Wallace that she might run for President “if I believe that is the right thing to do for our country and for the Palin family.” These remarks came one day after Palin gave a speech to the Tea Party Convention which drew chants of “Run, Sarah, Run” from the crowd.
In her speech to the Tea Party Convention on Saturday night, Palin said that she disapproved of President Obama’s handling of the recession. In particular, Palin took issue with the government bailouts and how they could contribute to a higher deficit.
Later in the speech, Palin went on to call for the resignation of Attorney General Eric Holder because Holder has chosen to put some terrorism suspects in civilian courts in the United States.
In addition, she questioned President Obama’s “hopey changey thing” and criticized his ability to fight the war on terror, citing the African terrorist who almost blew up a plane bound for Detroit from Amsterdam on Christmas, among other things.
