The Puerto Rican mega star has sold 60 million records in Spanish and English and dropped the gay-bomb today so to speak by posting on his website, “Today I have accepted my homosexuality as a gift that gives me life.” There could be wide spread anger from gay activists concerned that the reason he never told anyone was that he was advised it could hinder his career.

Now the singer has penned his memoirs, he stated he has finally got “things that were too heavy to keep inside” off his chest. With many in the industry and Latino fans already suspecting this for many years, it is still clearly a subject that finds its way into the gossip columns of the world’s media.
