New York snow

The snow has been coming down by the bucket load this month in the North East with as much as three feet recorded in some areas of Vermont yesterday evening. The North East and New York has been hit with three massive blizzards so far this February and it doesn’t really look like easing up.

More than 1000 flights have been cancelled at John F Kennedy, LaGuardia and Newark Liberty airports because of the snow and hundreds of schools have been closed because of the drifting and dangerous snow. In addition numerous roads have become un-navigatable because of the adverse weather conditions and Amtrak have cancelled some rail services. However, the heavy snow fall will be good news for the ski resorts in the North East though as there supplies will be replenished, and the fresh powder will make for great skiing and snowboarding.

Authorities are advising people to be careful in these dangerous conditions and make sure they stay warm.

If you can, try and enjoy the New York snow but, please be careful!
