Mesothelioma Lawsuit
Mesothelioma Suit
Mesothelioma is one of the worst forms of cancer and it is almost always caused by exposure to asbestos. In this highly serious disease which has no present cure, malignant cells develop in the mesothelium (which is a protective lining which covers the internal organs of the body). The most frequent reason for people developing the Mesothelioma diseases is due to working on jobs where they inhale asbestos particles, or they have been exposed to asbestos fiber and fiber in different ways. This tragic disease is usually caused by a company, and hence cases eventually lead to a Mesothelioma Lawsuit.
Mesothelioma made the headlines recently with the news that a family that has waited since 2005 to get their day in court will have to hold on just a little longer. The New Orleans judge announced this recently and the reason for delaying this Mesothelioma lawsuit was due to the judges wanting to attend the Super Bowl.
The Mesothelioma lawsuit in question is that of Dano Paul Becnel vs the Northrop Grumman Ship Systems, Inc. It concerns a woman who contracted the Mesothelioma Abestos disease through secondhand exposure. Diane Rome Becnel was unfortunately exposed to asbestos particles through her her father, Victorin Rome, who worked for over 30 years at the Avondale Shipyard.
It is a sad day when a sporting event takes precedence over such a crucial matter that has wrecked the lives of American citizens.
