Heavy rain demo

You can get the demo version of the upcoming PS3 game Heavy Rain right now – but you’ll have to follow some simple instructions first.

Quantic Dream, the games developers, have released a mini-site called Precinct 55, which includes a mini game that you need to play. Complete the game, and get early access to the Heavy Rain demo!

In order to compelte the mini game you need to do certain tasks involving submitting evidence – a cigarette, an origami bird, some tyre tracks and a coffee shop. It sounds strange, but once you’ve done that you will not only have access to the demo but also a free tshirt in your PS3 home screen for unlocking it.

There are two playable chapters in the demo – one with an FBI agent brought in to find the origami killer, and another featuring a private detective who is also looking for this elusive criminal.

The website itself seems to be having a little difficulty with capacity, as thousands of people are trying to get the code to play the free Heavy Rain demo on the Precinct 55 site. If you manage to get on their site, you will be able to access your code (to get the free demo) after submitting the items.
