Many Haiti Earthquake disaster photos have been posted on the net of late, which have revealed the widespread devastation that the earthquake has caused to the tiny island.

It has been nearly two weeks since the natural disaster hit the tiny island, and since then disaster relief has been quick to rush to the aid of stranded people and victims of the devastation.

Measuring a 7.3 on the Richter scale, this cataclysmic event has made many international aid agencies react with speed and purpose, but some peopel still feel that more could be done by the international community to deal with the millions of people who have been affected by this tragedy.

Reports first put the number of dead around 2,000, however recent Haiti Earthquake disaster photos have illustrated the extent of the loss of life – which now stands at a huge 150,000 people and could well extend to many, many more when the final totals are counted.

Many international aid agencies, such as the Red Cross, have been extremely active in the region since the disaster, although some have criticized the lack of focus of the effort to help people affected by the quake. Hopes are strong, however, that many people will continue to give donations and help to the relief effort and that the cleanup and rescue operations can continue until everyone on the island’s life is back to normal.
