Gran Turismo 5 Release Date
The much anticipated Gran Turismo 5 release date is soon to be known with Sony confirming a 2010 release and when pressed further, intimated that an October release is what is being aimed for. Initially leaked to the media in 2006 waiting for Gran Turismo 5 has been like waiting for peace in the Middle East, its arrival always just out of reach.
Gran Turismo 5 Release Date
Earmarked for a Japanese release in Spring 2010, Polyphony Digital delayed Gran Turismo 5 so they could improve the AI of the computer competitors. Hoping to make the game respond in a more human manner the developer felt obliged to tweak the gameplay just a little bit more to give the best experience possible. No one wants 15 computer drivers all taking the racing line and driving the same so hopefully this setback will ensure that the game is more fun. Burnout Paradise had an excellent AI system that truly gave gamers the impression the computer AI was out to get itself just as much as you.
Gran Turismo 5 will feature almost 1000 cars across 20 individual tracks but with options to extend and unlock parts of those tracks to bring up the number of track iterations to 70. Each car is a perfect remake of the real life original and gamers have been stunned by the Ferrari video as well as the nighttime driving Gran Turismo 5 trailers released online.
The demand is there and Sony are hoping that once released Gran Turismo 5 will sell to each and every PlaySation 3 owner to recoup at least 6 years of development costs. As the Gran Turismo 5 release date creeps closer gamers around the world are clamoring to get a piece of the action.
