Facebook emoticons

One of the biggest revolutions on the internet over the last twelve months have been the emergence of Facebook emoticons – little images that you can use in your Facebook chat to show peopel that you are happy, sad, an angel or a devil.

There are a wide range of different smileys that you can use in your Facebook chat, and it shows that the social network, which has been working tirelessly to mould its site around the needs of its users, is listening to the desires of its fans.

Some of the Facebook emoticons are traditional, like the normal smiley which you can do by typing :) However, some of the emoticons for Facebook chat take a little bit more research. Websites have popped up all across the internet, trying to find the codes for the different emotes and symbols – and it has become a sort of arms-race for the internet.

Its owner, a secretive cyber-guru, has commented that whenever Facebook introduce new emoticons, they’ll be added as soon as possible!
