Community Acquired Pneumonia

Community Acquired Pneumonia is an illness which can affect people of all ages, and is in effect an infection of the lungs. Penumonia has several strains, and this one shows itself through several similar symptoms, such as coughing, difficulty breathing, chest pains and fever.

The severity of the infection can range from mild to life threatening, but sadly Brittany Murphy’s case was not caught early enough to be treated. The coroner added that her death was preventable, if she had gone to a doctor for treatment sooner.

Murphy collapsed in the shower while she was at home with her husband, Simon Monjack. he called 911 from there, but the medics could not revive her after she entered full cardiac arrest.

Murphy had starred in a wide range of films, including ‘Sin City’ – but she was best loved for her role in ‘Clueless’.
