BP Oil Spill Update

Two and a half months removed from one of the biggest stories of the year, we are here to give you the BP Oil Spill update to see what is actually going in this mess catastrophic mess created by BP Inc (NYSE:BP). Here’s a brief recap of this whole mess for those who have not payed a lot of attention to this story over the past couple months.

BP Oil Spill Update

This is not the first oil spill in history, but it is certainly one of the largest. The Deepwater Horizon oil spill – also known as the BP oil spill or the Gulf of Mexico oil spill – is a gigantic and still ongoing oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico that has now become the largest offshore spill in American history. Once you watch BP oil spill video, you will perhaps be able to see the scope of this disaster.

The British Petroleum oil spill was caused by a drilling rig explosion on April 20th of this year in which 11 workers were killed and more were injured.

The aftermath / results / casualty of the BP oil spill fiasco? The gusher is currently estimated to be flowing at 35,000 to 60,000 barrels of crude oil per day and an oil slick that covers at least 2,500 square miles.

This event resulted in the BP stock (NYSE:BP) to lose half of its value almost overnight. It remains to be seen how BP will bounced back from this debacle, but at least they have provided a way for us to watch BP Oil Spill Updates. Live stream video can be found here:
