Alec Baldwin Hospital Status

Update on the Alec Baldwin in Hospital Status: He’s fine, and there’s no major problems.

We have just been informed that Alec Baldwin, best known for his role on NBC’s 30 Rock, ended up in a New York hospital after his 14-year-old daughter, Ireland Baldwin, called 911 to their West Side Manhattan apartment.

Ireland Baldwin was concerned for Baldwin’s health because Alec,  aged 51, was “unresponsive,” according to reports in the Today in New York report. Baldwin was then taken to the Lenox Hill Hospital.

Baldwin was examined at Lenox Hill Hospital for around an hour before being released. There is no official word yet on the specifics of Alec’s condition and what exactly transpired.

The Emmy-winning actor has no real history of illnesses and upon contacting related parties and his ex-wife Kim Basinger – no word could be obtained as to what happened to Alec Baldwin.

While this whole Alec Baldwin in the hospital story has a sense of mystery, one wonders whether it has any relation to the publicly released tantrum of several months back against his daughter. We will update you with more news as we hear from it and hopefully clarify why exactly is it that Alec Baldwin was in the hospital.
